CONTENT

The course focuses on the acquisition of the four language skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing - at the level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference. The language structures of Business English will also be analysed.

The course will last 48 hours. Interactive activities are implemented during the lessons. Students will be engaged in exercises, readings, listening, and watching videos.

EXAM

To achieve the proficiency, students need to pass an oral test assessing their competence in the four language skills and in Business English. The students’ knowledge of the course contents, their critical thinking skills, and their ability to communicate in English will be assessed. Students will be graded as follows: 1-17 Fail, 18- 21 satisfactory, 22-24 fairly good, 25-27 good, 28-29 very good, 30-30 cum laude excellent.
