The course describes and examines the main set of problems related to the strategic analysis and management of firms. Particularly, the course analyzes: the general concept of strategy; the analysis of strategic positioning and the tools for the strategic analysis; the set of problems related to the definition and realization of competitive and corporate strategies of firms; the strategic management; the concept of the business model and its evolution with reference to the issues of sustainability and innovation
